Mold Damage Remediation

Mold damage remediation is a very serious undertaking best handled by certified, trained proffessionals. That is why All Service stands out in the remediation industry.
All Service is certified in the field of Health and Safety by both OSHA and the IICRC and also holds both Microbial Remediation Technician and Microbial Remediation Specialist certifications with the IICRC. All Service specialists have remediated literal hundreds of individual mold claims throughout central and southeast Michigan without incident, and have re-established indoor environmental health and peace of mind for numerous families and business owners.

Depending upon the extent and the circumstances of the damage, the methods of removing the mold may vary but the goal remains to rid your property of an extremely harmful substance which has no place in your home or business. Any wood, drywall or other cellulosic building materials which show signs of microbial growth must be sanitized on site, removed and discarded. All Service provides cartage also for all materials removed from the property. Any studs, trusses, joists or other load bearing materials which have been affected by mold will either be sanitized, sanded and sealed with anti-microbial primer or they will be reinforced and cut away. A large part of correctly remediating mold damage is to ensure that damage is not likely to occur again, and this is done by fixing the source of the damage and removing ALL the present spores entirely. All Service specialists install vapor barriers known as "clean rooms" between the afflicted areas and the rest of the property in an effort to prevent spores from traveling through the air and settling elsewhere. These "clean rooms" are sealed untill the damaged materials are secured, after which everything within the clean room is gone over thoroughly with a HEPA-vacuum and then removed from the property and sanitized.

After all afflicted areas have been rid of mold growth, every inch is sanitized with anti-microbial post treatments and/or sealed with anti-microbial primer. This is to ensure that in the event of another water damage, microbial growth will be much less likely to thrive in the same area. Another important step in finalizing the remediation is to clean and sanitize any upholstery or carpeted area within proximity or contact of afflicted materials. Unfortunately, natural fibers such as wool carpeting or cotton upholstery cannot be salvaged once microbial growth has begun, but synthetic materials like polyester and nylon are not susceptable to mold growth and are rather easily cleaned. Cleaning the H-VAC system may also be neccessary if any of the vents or returns have been affected by water damage or microbial growth.

After the property has been completely secured, meaning the source of the damage is fixed, all mold spores have been removed and all water extracted, the process of
re-constructing the damaged areas will begin. All Service has ties to many tradesmen in nearly every field of building construction and renovation, which allows us to complete tasks in a timely fashion, correctly, without a need for outside contracting. From the studs to the shingles, plumbing to electrical, All Service will contract and oversee the individuals required to bring your home or business back up to par.

As you can see, All Service is a complete cleaning and restoration company from beginning to end, capable of assessing, remediating and reconstructing full-scale structural damages. Our record of outstanding acheivments in the field of microbial remediation continues to grow with each new damage, making All Service Oakland County's premier remediation and restoration service provider.
