Our certified technicians begin by assessing the rug to determine its fiber and the extent of the soiling, which may or may not affect the overall cost of cleaning. The standard rate for area rug restoration is $1.75 per square foot and is subject to change based upon the afformentioned conditions. After the rug has been assessed, it will be either cleaned on site or rolled and returned to our area rug treatment facility where it will be cleaned according to its fiber content and soiling. After cleaning, the rug is hung dry and a protective post-cleaning spray is applied for an additional charge if requested by the client. When the rug is completely dried, it is rolled, packaged and returned to you as good as new. A standard fee of $25.00 applies for handling if it is neccessary to return the rug to our treatment facility for proper cleaning.
